The Sabbat of Imbolc finds us in the deepest, coldest, darkest part of winter and Spring seems like a distant memory. But while the earth is still frozen, the daylight hours continue to grow, giving us hope that winter can still be banished.

And you know who is good at banishing things? Thor, that's who. In this Imbolc Public Ritual, we will be calling down the Thunder God to help us banish not only the cold, dark winter, but also to clean out our own spiritual closets and push away the unwanted things to make room for new growth.

You need to bring an object that you will not want back because it's going to be destroyed. This object should represent that thing you want to banish from your life and it should be breakable or smashable (like pottery, glass, something fragile). This object should NOT be much larger than your hand.

What to bring:
* $5 cover
* Small object to destroy
* Drums or rattles (optional)
* Feast Food (finger foods only please, you have to be able to leave with the leftovers)
* Feast Gear (bowl, cup, plate)

Quoi amener :
* $5
*Petit objet à détruire
*Tambour et hochet (optionnel)
*Nourriture (qui se mange avec les mains et dont vous devez ramener les restes)
*Bols, assiettes, tasses, ustensils

Blessed Samhain

Blessed Samhain to everyone! The veil between the living world and our beloved dead is thin and they yearn to hear us again. Remember them, let them know you're okay, and that their memory continues to be strong in your heart.

Samhain Public Ritual 2015

Friday, October 30th
7:00pm - 9:00pm
Studio Sundari
6262 St. Hubert
Montreal H2S 2M2
Facebook event
Cost: $5

Samhain is a powerful, moving time of year when we reflect on the loved ones we have lost to death's embrace. It is said that this is a time when the veil between the living and the dead is thinnest, which allows us to communicate with the dead easily, and it allows the dead to whisper to us.

For this Samhain ritual, we will be journeying to the boundaries between the living and the dead. You will be invited to approach the veil, see the shadows of the dead, and whisper your messages to them. You will also be invited to do some divination for not only yourself, but for others.

Please bring your drums and other acoustic instruments.

We have rented the large room at Studio Sundari, so let's fill it! Invite your friends and your family to share in this powerful experience. Happy Halloween!

Contact Hobbes for more information (514-791-3627).

Joyeux Halloween!
